Tusks: Mammoths & Mastodons
May 17 - Sept. 7
Created by the Florida Museum of Natural History, Gainesville, the traveling exhibit Tusks! Ice Age Mammoths and Mastodons offers guests the opportunity to see and learn about pre-historic American Mammoths and Columbian Mastodons that roamed throughout the North America continent during the last Ice Age. The exhibit also showcases fossils of other Ice Age animals including carnivores, birds and reptiles.

Native American Festival
Nov. 13 - 15
Members of tribes from North and South America will perform ancient ceremonial dances in traditional regalia, tell centuries-old stores and demonstrate their ancient arts and crafts. Other activities include a Seminole Hunting Camp, geo dig, art contest, displays of Native American artifacts and war paddles, and more.

16th Annual Festival of Lights
Nov. 28-29 Dec. 5-6, 12-23 & 26-30
Silver Springs’ biggest special event of the year, this popular holiday celebration will be presented from dusk to 8:30 p.m. and feature more than a million twinkle lights throughout the park, plus dozens of neon displays, local choirs, strolling carolers, musical stage shows, lighted boat parade, shopping, a Holiday Buffet with all the trimmings, and of course Santa (nightly through Dec. 23).
