The Nike Kobe 11 “Draft Day” edition commemorates the team the first drafted Kobe Bryant, the Charlotte Hornets back in the 1996 NBA Draft.
After being picked 13th in the first round, the Hornets made one of their biggest mistake in franchise history by trading the Black Mamba to the LA Lakers.
This Nike Kobe 11 is dressed in the Charlotte Hornets team colors having a White, Blue Lagoon and Court Purple color scheme. Featuring a White Engineered Mesh upper with Teal and Purple accents throughout, sitting atop a clean White rubber sole. Finishing off the design is the 6.26.96 date down the heel as a nod to the day Kobe Bryant was drafted.
